This talk will explore ancient cures practiced in Ireland. Enjoy a 45 minute storytelling performance intertwining Irish mythology and Sarah’s personal journey collecting stores for ordinary people who practice and extraordinary tradition.

Healers are practicing a tradition that is thousands of years old but is in a very delicate state, whereby we could lose our cures within 20/30 years.

Sarah McKenna Dunne’s 45 minute storytelling performance intertwines Irish mythology and her personal journey collecting stories from ordinary people who practice an extraordinary tradition.

But as sure as cures have always existed, so too have curses, twined deeply with dark folklore, the desire to do harm invokes the land to betray its inhabitants. Sarah has encountered revenge caused by the act of curse, but thankfully she also knows where to get the cure of the curse for anyone who needs it!
